Lovingly known as "Tasha"

In 2007 I had made arrangements to import two female puppies from the UK to Canada. One of the sales fell through when the person that agreed to sell me their pup sold it to someone else and didnt advise me. Penny, the wonderful lady I had coordinating things in the UK, telephoned me to let me know the second pup was "gone" and ask what I wanted her to do. The short end of a long story is that Penny managed to locate anther female pup that was still available and the right age, that the owner was willing to hold until the shipping date and this wonderful new addition to our gang turned out to be Tasha.

Oct 17-18, 2009 ~ LONDON CANINE ASSOCIATION, Tillsonburg, ON

Tasha was entered in the Open Bitch class and her timid demeaner in the ring showed marked improvement. She actually wagged her tail each day and starting looking animated although she still didnt place. She appears to be a 'late bloomer' and needs more schooling away from home and in a show ring environment.

Oct 3, 2009 ~ PINERIDGE KENNEL CLUB, Port Hope, ON

Tasha was entered in the Open Bitch class but was quite timid in the ring and as a result, didnt place.

Aug 28-31, 2009 ~ STORMONT DUNDAS & GLENGARRY DOG ASSOC., Long Sault, ON

Tasha was entered in the Rideau Terrier Club Specialty, Sat, August 29 - placed 3rd under Judge Tim Doxtater [Surrey, BC] and in the Border Terrier Canada Specialty, Sun August 30 - placed 2nd under Judge Jayne Gillam [Yorks, UK]. We had some very nice comments from Ms. Gillam but unfortunately, Tasha showed a little too timidly for a terrier which is totally contrary to her nature at home where she in an instigator. This was the largest showing of Border Terriers that I have ever seen in one show ~ 43 entries.
